Terms, without the fog.
Using frontlinetoforecast.com means agreeing to these terms. They're short because the site is honest, but they're still terms, so read them once.
The site and what it's for.
Frontline to Forecast publishes doctrine, diagnostics, essays, and a weekly dispatch on sales leadership and sales execution, and offers paid advisory engagements. The content is provided for general professional education. It's the real doctrine, but reading it is not the same as an engagement.
Not professional advice.
Articles, Field Briefing No. 01, the Slope Check, and The Dispatch are general information, not advice for your specific situation. Your pipeline, your org, and your quarter have facts I haven't seen. Decisions you make from free content are yours. If you want analysis applied to your actual data, that's what the Diagnostic is for, and paid engagements are governed by their own written agreements, which control over these terms.
The Slope Check.
The free Slope Check is a five-question directional instrument, not an audit. It tells you which way to look; it doesn't replace looking. No warranty is made that its result matches what a full engagement would find.
Intellectual property.
The Domination Curve, the I.R.C. doctrine, Field Briefing No. 01, the essays, and everything else published here are the intellectual property of Ryan Mathews / Frontline to Forecast unless noted otherwise.
- You may read, share links, quote reasonable excerpts with attribution, and use the ideas inside your own team
- You may not republish substantial portions, resell the content, strip the attribution, or train a product on it and call it yours
If you want broader usage rights (workshops, internal training decks, reprints), email and ask. The answer is usually yes when the ask is honest.
Subscriptions.
The Dispatch and Field Briefing No. 01 are free. You can unsubscribe at any time, and unsubscribing is honored immediately. Email handling is described in the Privacy Policy.
The app.
The Own the Curve app is a separate product with its own terms and privacy policy. Those govern the app; these govern this website.
Third-party links.
Links to outside sites are provided because they're useful, not because their content is endorsed or controlled. What happens on someone else's site is between you and them.
No warranties, limited liability.
The site is provided as-is. Reasonable effort goes into accuracy, but no warranty is made that everything is current, complete, or fit for your particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Frontline to Forecast and Ryan Mathews are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site or its content. Total liability connected to your use of the free site is limited to the amount you paid for it, which is zero.
Changes.
These terms may be updated; the date above moves when they do. Continued use after a change is acceptance of the change. Material changes get noted in The Dispatch rather than buried.
Governing law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute belongs in the state or federal courts located in Utah.
